For Sale:
A sign may be placed on-site (not off-site) only on property located in a residential district to offer it for sale, lease, or rent. Such sign shall not exceed four square feet in area or six feet in height. On-site shall include that portion of the public right-of-way immediately adjacent to the site provided the area is landscaped and maintained by the property owner and the sign does not present a safety hazard.
Off-Site Directional:
The open house signs shall not exceed four square feet in area or thirty (30) inches in height and shall be constructed of durable materials. The signs shall direct persons to an open house during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. when an authorized sales person is on the property. A maximum of one open house sign per corner of an intersection directing traffic in any one direction shall be allowed. Such signs may display only the logo of the local real estate board, the words "open house," and/or an arrow. The intersections shall be determined by the city planner and a list shall be distributed to the local real estate board.
