Voting Information

Starting with the 2020 Primary Election Santa Clara County implemented the Voter’ Choice Act that mailed a ballot to every registered voter in the County allowing them to vote by mail or fill it out at a certified Voting Center. The County will be following the same format for the General Election. Santa Clara County Residents will be able to vote one of two ways for the General Election
  1. USE YOUR VOTE BY MAIL BALLOT
    • Mail your ballot in a postage-paid return envelope​
    • Place your ballot in an Official Ballot Drop Box
    • Return your ballot to any Vote Center​​
  2. GET A BALLOT AT A VOTE CENTER
    • When: Vote any day during election week (October 31 – November 3, 2020)
    1. Where: Visit any of the Vote Centers located throughout the County
    2. How: Vote a paper ballot or on a new voting machine
