Are you looking for a faster, lower-cost way to an accessory dwelling unit (ADU)? ADU designers/builders who offer standard construction plan layouts that are preapproved can offer their customers the City’s fastest, lowest-cost permit process.

CalHFA ADU Grant Program
The California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) announced an ADU Finance program on September 20, 2021 to help CA homeowners building an ADU pay for predevelopment costs. Homeowners working with approved lenders can receive a grant of up to $25,000 to reimburse upfront costs including site preparation, permit and impact fees, design costs, and more. Who qualifies? Homeowners in one or more of these categories: lower-income (below 80% AMI); low equity in the home (below 20%) or who live in a qualified census tract. Learn more at https://www.calhfa.ca.gov/
